Australia Day is the national day of Australia.
On Australia Day, Australians come together to celebrate what's great about Australia and being Australian. Australia Day is a public holiday in all states and territories of the country.
This year, ten legends of Australian music are honoured on a new series of postage stamps which are on sale from 18 January. The five individual recipients of the 2013 Australia Post Legends award are Kylie Minogue, John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John, Paul Kelly, and Ian "Molly" Meldrum. In addition, the five bands Cold Chisel, Men At Work, INXS, The Seekers and AC/DC are also honoured with a postage stamp.
