African Music Festival 2013 -
GREETINGS FROM THE MAYOR OF EMMENDINGEN

A popular tradition by now, the African Music Festival will take place again this year on the Schlossplatz in Emmendingen.


Various bands and groups will give a taste of the African attitude to and joy about life. In addition to the colourful street parade on Saturday and the African church service on Sunday the bazaar is also open to all those interested.


I would be pleased to see many visitors come and seize the multifaceted choice of events and get a glimpse into African culture and African life.


My thanks go to the organisers, most notably Raphael Kofi, who have been setting up the festival with great commitment once again.


I wish the audience and all the guests an interesting and entertaining African Music Festival and the organisers a great response and many visitors.
