According to the prosecution, he is involved in killing of gangland figure Kevin "Gerbill" Carroll wearing a mask with other coconspirators outside the Asda store in the city's Robroyston area in January 2010.
He repudiates of getting rid of the guns to show the justice department that he was not involved in shooting accident.
According to the defence, Mr QC Paul McBride, the DNA reports and telephone analysis reports are available within four weeks.
He faces several other charges as well like the occurrence of incident in relation to the company of others, getting rid of a revolver, pistol and ammo within underwood in Coatbridge and Airdrie, both North Lanarkshire, setting a car on fire having false number plates, traveling in a stolen car, possession of illegal bullets, possessing illegal weapons without required certificate and without the authority of the Secretary of State or Scottish Ministers.
