Global Biofuels Summit 2013 -

The 2nd annual Global Biofuels Summit takes place in Barcelona, Spain The summit gives a global outlook on biofuels worldwide and the EU biofuels policy.

 

The summit contains the following topics: Allowing the

production of sustainable biomass. Implementation of the RED in Germany and required information in respect of Art. 18 Directive 2009/28/EC. A panel discussion will be held about the Indirect Land Use Change (ILUC) and the decision from European Commission.Insight from Oil & Gas Companies: Availability of biofuels at competitive prices, Insight from Automotive Industry: Efficiency vs. Sustainability.

Sustainability for the future: renewable diesel, nternational biofuels trade, land use conflicts – the increasing competition for biomass.
