Formula One, the most popular, technologically advanced and expensive form of international motorsport, holds a Street Grand Prix race on the banks of the Hudson River against the backdrop of the Manhattan skyline.
The 3.2-milerace course will take drivers along New Jersey’s Hudson River shoreline, between Weehawken and West New York.
The F1 and Port Imperial have signed a contract in which both parties agreed to organize the Grand Prix for at least ten years at the Hudson River banks.
It marks the first F1 street car race in the U.S., and overall the first time that the East Coast of the U.S. will host an F1 race.
