The trial of Turgut Kazan continues after having been adjourned early november last year.

Kazan, who served as president of the Istanbul Bar Association for four years and as a lawyer for 49 years, is under investigation for

criticizing the passivity of the prosecutor's office in a case that Kazan was defending, the famous Ergenekon trial.

Kazan could be facing up to three years in prison and discharge from his profession.
