Jury trial commences for Jeremy Dale Salter, a 36-year-old charged with the first-degree murder of Inyokern resident John Harley Evans.


In April 2011, local authorities set up a search for Evans after his family had reported him missing for two days. His body was eventually found off Power Line Road in Inyokern and indentified through dental records. 

 

Salter has previously been charged of grand theft, posession of a controlled substance and petty theft, but claims his innocence on this murder charge.
