Jury hears whistleblower in wrongful termination case -

Jury trial begins for Maria Naranjo in the wrongful termination case against her former employer, the Tulare Kings Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (TKHCC). 


Naranjo claims her employment was terminated as a direct result of her refusal to sign a confidentiality agreement which prohibited her from voicing allegations of improper record keeping and a hostile working environment at the Chamber.


However, the TKHCC argues that the Chamber is in the midst of an ' era of transparency' and Naranjo's termination had nothing to do with her whistleblowing activities.
