Bayern Munich meets Borussia Dortmund in an all-German UEFA Champions League Final on the Wembley Stadium. 


Both teams are previous winners of the European football competition. Borussia Dortmund, who went past real Madrid on the way to the final, won one UEFA Champions League title in 1997 by beating Juventus FC.


Bayern eliminated Barcelona FC to reach its tenth European Cup/UEFA Champions League final. The team from Munich won their fourth such title in 2001.


Tickets for the all-German final sold out in 6 hours.


The UEFA Champions League, or European Cup, is an annual club football competition organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) since 1955 for the top football clubs in Europe.


It is one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world and the most prestigious club competition in European football.
