Sports management is becoming a global industry that is of great importance in society. The demand for professionally trained sport managers, who are capable of this ambition in enterprising ways to shape and the associated interest in a proper way to unite is increasing. The Sports Management Institute (SMI) meets this need for professional managers, directors, managers and supervisors in sports.

Born from a collaboration between NOC NSF and University of Groningen, SMI provides more than twenty years academic quality executive education in sports management.
