World Forestry Day 2013 -

World Forestry Day promotes awareness of the value of forests across the globe by providing information on the protection, production and recreation of forests. 


The idea for a world forestry day originated at the European Confederation of Agriculture in 1971, and was later endorsed by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation.
