Body Worlds Vital, which is a part of a series of exhibitions, makes its first appearance in Canada. The exhibition displays Gunther von Hagens' project.
This Canadian premiere opens and celebrates the potential of the human body and the body in motion. Featuring authentic human bodies, the exhibition shows the body in health, distress and disease and tells the story of how best to defeat life-threatening diseases, such as cancer, diabetes and heart ailments, through informed choices and lifestyle changes.
Body Worlds Vital, in its first-ever showing in Canada, is the latest chapter in the HUMAN SAGA project, a series of curated museum blockbusters that began with the exploration of the brain and neuroscience, cardiology and the heart, human development and longevity and ageing.
