Nokia launches its Lumia 710 Windows Phone. The phone is available at all T-Mobile stores and online in white and black models.


The release of the new Nokia phone is part of a change in company's direction which has resulted in a move around from the Symbian platform towards Windows Phone for premium devices (running the Mango version of the Windows Phone OS).


While the Nokia Lumia 800 targets the high-end of the smartphone marketplace, the Nokia Lumia 710 is intended to target the mid-range by offering a device at a lower price point.


The Lumia 710 features a 3.7 inch LCD screen and 8 GB of storage. It had been released in some European and Asian countries before but reached the US market today.
