Anheuser-Busch InBev, the brewer of famous Belgian beers such as Stella Artois, Jupiler, Beck's and Leffe, increases its prices. From today on, wholesalers and supermarkets sell the crates and cans of beers 6% more expensive.

The beer prices rise faster than inflation, but the brewer stresses the fact the in previous years the prices' increase was lower than belgian inflation.

Its main competitor, Alken-Maes, will also adjust its prices, increasing them by 6%, on March 12, 2012.
