The KNVB Cup final takes place in Rotterdam's 'De Kuip' stadium as it has since 1988.

The KNVB Cup is a football competition held in the Netherlands and organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB).

The Dutch equivalent to the English FA Cup, it is often simply referred to as the Dutch Cup featuring teams from all the three leagues of Dutch football.

The winners of the cup compete against the winners of the Eredivisie for the Johan Cruijff Shield, helping to determine the main contenders for the following season.
