Representatives of around 110 Episcopal conferences as well as Father Superiors of 30 religious orders will be present to discuss sexual abuse in the Catholic Church.

Succeeding the conference, an e-learning center for the protection of children will be launched to offer relevant educational resources in five languages.

Based in Germanys' Munich, the institution is designed to assist leaders of the church to better respond to the issue and will be funded for the following three years.
