Seminar on cyber-crime: Fighting child pornography

Danish National Police and the Danish Director of Public Prosecutions organize a seminar on the fight against the sexual exploitation of children on the internet and child pornography. The seminar is co-funded by the European Commission.

Child pornography on the internet has become a troublesome and ever-growing crime area. Modern technologies not only simplify everyday life but also invite villains to take advantage of them.
 
The European Council, represented by the Danish Presidency, therefore aims at ensuring network security and wishes to develop qualitative interaction between investigators and prosecutors of member states.

The seminar adopts a new approach in order to make a step forward in the struggle against the sexual exploitation of children bringing together experts from the law, the European Commission and other concerned institutions.
