Today people observe the anniversary of the 1942 Wannsee Conference close to Berlin, where some of the most highly ranked members of the Nazi party made a final decision about the so called "Jewish Question". The result was the extermination of approximately 6 million Jews, in what is now known as Jewish Holocaust.
An anniversary exhibit is set at the place of the meeting, which is a grand villa on Berlin’s Lake Wannsee, as well as at war memorials, synagogues and museums all around the world.
A chronic of the events and the terrors that happened in concentration and extermination camps can also be seen during the day.
