Kumbh Mela at the Sangam 2013

Khumb Mela is a important Hindu Festival and Pilgrimage. It is held every 12 years at one location; in this case the Triveni Sangam close to Allahabad. (there are 3 other locations, of which is believed that the Nectar from the Gods has spilled; Nashik, Ujjain and Haridwar.
The Khumb Mela at the Sangam is a huge event, and listed in the events gathering the most Pilgrims or specatators at a single event.
Sources differ as to whether Makar Sankranti is part of the Kumbh Mela. For instance Wikipedia writes it as follows:
"2013 The Purna Kumbha Mela will again be held at Prayag (Sangam of the rivers) in the year 2013 (January 27 to February 25).
