Former US president Bill Clinton is invited to host the ‘Invest in Ireland’ forum, aiming to encourage business leaders from around the world to invest in the country.
Since the outbreak of the financial crisis in 2008, Ireland was headed for economic disastry, but with the help of a bailout from the EU emergency fund and a number of reforms taken by the government, it has actively adressed the crisis.
Due to the counter measures the Irish government undertook, including efforts to reduce the deficit caps on its balances, the country experienced a remarkable, still fragile, economic recovery.
Attendees and speakers at the event also includes incumbent Prime Minister Enda Kenny, Deputy Prime Minister Eamon Gilmore and Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton.
