The 3-day long International Festival Management Forum starts today in the Bait Al Zubair Museum.

The British Council is co-organising the event. Hosts are mainly UK professionals including Nelson Fernandez (Director NFA International Arts and Culture), Mark Prescott (Director Belfast Festival at Queens), Mark Ball (Director London International Festival of Theatre) and Lewis Biggs (former Director and Founder of Liverpool Biennial).

From the Oman delegation creative sectors leaders and arts managers are present. Other participants include Syria, Palestine, Libya and Jordan.

The festival also covers strategy and identity development, stakeholders and quality management, risk balancing and programming.
