The Europe 2020 Summit, held by the European Commission in collaboration with the Danish EU Presidency, takes place at the Résidence Palace.

The summit under the theme of 'Unleashing Growth and Creating Jobs', focuses of on a functional growth and jobs strategy that needs to be developed as a 'cure' for the economic crisis. The concrete actions that should be taken to stimulate growth and economic development, and crank up the employment will be discussed.

The Europe 2020 Summit features key addresses from José Manuel Barroso, the President of the European Commission, and Nicolai Wammen, Danish minister for European affairs. Additional speakers include the representatives from International Monetary Fund, World Economic Forum, OECD and Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research, Greece.
