The Glasgow Film Festival notes 100 years since Gene Kelly was born and 60 years from his unforgettable part in Singin' in the Rain.

Scottish film fanatics can enjoy the retrospective on his most memorable performances on the silver screen.

Kelly is one of the most famous tap-dancers ever to appear in cinema. Besides an actor he was also a choreographer and director.

The retrospective called Gene Kelly: Strictly Song and Dance includes screenings of 8 of his classics, namely the Scottish musical, Brigadoon and An American in Paris (1951).
