The Jeddah Economic Forum (JEF) is an annual platform for government officials and the private sector interested in the economic development of the Middle East and particularly Saudi Arabia.
The JEF discusses the short and long-term issues that mostly effect the economic abilities of the Middle East and Saudi Arabia. These issues concern sustained economic growth to generate work opportunities and a strong business environment.
This year's theme is 'Beyond Borders - Building Tomorrow's Economies Today'. It focuses on the importance of looking beyond one's own borders to achieve sustainable economic growth in an age of recurring global economic crisis.
Complementary events are organized around the formal forum.
