The Supreme Court of Pakistan holds a hearing in the court case of Pakistan's former law minister Babar Awan, who is charged with contempt of court.

Babar Awan is accused of criticizing Pakistan's judiciary in a press conference. His lawyer, Ali Zafar, has denied that Babar Awan ridiculed the Court during the press conference and states that Babar Awan only clarified complaints of a rival political party.

Judge Aijaz Afzal takes the case seriously and has said that the Supreme Court will not compromise when the respect of the Court is questioned.
