O'Donnell allegedly took and kept video and digital footage of police officers, forbidden according to Terrorism Act 2000.
He was taken into custody after the authorities searched his home on 20 June 2011. He pleaded not guilty and was released on bail of £1,000.
His bail conditions also prohibit illegal public meeting and the possession of recording devices outside his home, unless at an official sporting event. Another condition to his bail compels him to report to the police twice a week.
Despite previously denying all charges, a detective constable has told a district judge that the taxi driver confessed that he uploaded the images of officers on the 32 County Sovereignty Movement's website.
