The Chicago Polar Plunge Fundraiser 2012

The 'ever so icy' North Avenue Beach plunge takes place providing participants with yet another fantastic opportunity to wake up to the new year.
Lake Michigan once again becomes the scene of the plunge with registrants asked to raise at least $125 in funding to go towards the SCC/Special Olympics in Chicago. Complimentary bus services are provided to those with team of more than 20 members.
The 'Melt Down Party' follows the event held from 11am till 2pm at the boathouse located at the lake itself; food and drinks included. Sponsors this year include ComEd, the Microsoft Store and Potash Markets to name a few.
