Apple Inc's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) allows developers and engineers with the chance to be the first to know about the company's latest software and technology innovations.
Usually the number of attendees varies between 2,000 and 5,000, all of whom have to sign a non-disclosure agreement covering the various labs and feedback sessions that take place and all other material handed out during the WWDC.
Developers of iOS and Mac OS X platforms gain the most out of the WWDC through customized learning and coaching sessions with the teams that make iOS and Mac OS X a reality.
Tickets for the event cost around $1,500 but are sold-out usually after a few hours and can be re-sold for up to double the price.
