The BBC organizes a televized Concert at Buckingham Palace in order to mark Queen Elizabeth' s Diamond Jubilee. Concerts tickets have been made available to UK residents by public ballot. The lineup consists of British and Commonwealth musicians.


A network of 2,012 Beacons are being lit by communities and individuals throughout the UK and the Commonwealth in order to mark The Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The Diamond Jubilee Beacons is being kick started by the Queen, who lights the National Beacon.

The beacons project is being organized by Diamond Jubilee Beacons Ltd.
