The Beauties of Canada Organisation holds the annual Miss Universe Canada to select the Canadian representative to the Miss Universe World.


Canada chose its contestant this way for the first time in 2003 when the Beauties of Canada got the rights to do it. The winner was Leanne Marie Cecile, who made it to the top 10 in Miss Universe 2003.


The organisation's president is Nicaraguan-born Canadian, Denis Davila. The Beauties of Canada is an active member of the GTA community, which tries to highlight the importance of education and to fight against bullying.
