Dé oer-Hollandse musicalklassieker eindelijk terug in uw theater. Met onvergetelijke liedjes als In de Jordaan, Oh mooie Westertoren, Nou tabé dan, Wordt nooit verliefd, Dat zijn onze Jantjes, Als je huilt ben je een stakker en natuurlijk Omdat ik zoveel van je hou. Het heerlijke verhaal, de onvervalste Amsterdamse humor, de onweerstaanbare liedjes, een fantastische cast én een live band staan garant voor een onvergetelijke avond theater. Mis het niet!

In het café van Tante Piet is het een komen en gaan. Blonde Greet, Toffe Jans, Mooie Leendert, zijn vrouw Doortje en de straatmuzikanten Na Druppel en De Mop komen dagelijks hun borreltje drinken en proberen ieder op eigen wijze iets van het leven te maken. Zo ook De Jantjes: Dries, Manus en Toon, net afgezwaaid uit het leger lukt het hen niet om hun leven op de rit te krijgen. Door intriges, verloren liefdes en misverstanden besluiten zij Amsterdam de rug toe te keren en te vertrekken naar Nederlands Indië. Als ze na jaren terugkeren in hun geliefde Jordaan blijkt er veel veranderd!
