Mothercare closes another 173 stores -

Babywear retailer Mothercare is planning to close another 111 stores by March 2015, the outcome of a three-year strategy to restore its UK business foundations.


The closures were announced together with a disappointing 8.2% drop in like-for-like sales in the fourth quarter of 2012. 


Though struggling in the UK, Mothercare is planning to expand abroad.
