Formal arraignment in Trayvon Martin murder case -
George Zimmerman
The legal proceedings in the case of the murder of the unarmed teenager, Trayvon Martin, by a neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman, resume. 


Zimmerman, charged with second degree murder, is called before circuit court judge Jessica Recksiedler to hear the offence charges and to enter his plea.


The defendant's new lawyer, Mark O'Mara, stated in mid-April that his client would plead not guilty. 


O'Mara also requested all the documents relating to the incident to be sealed, as they could reveal sensitive information about the case. Seminole County judge Mark Herr agreed to the request.
