African Partnership Forum discusses continent's development opportunities 2013

The African Partnership Forum (APF) meeting is held annually to discuss issues relevant for Africa's development.
The forum aims to encourage dialogue between the G8, the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD), other African institutions and Africa's key bilateral and multilateral development partners.
APF recommends global leaders on decisions that need to be taken in important regional and global issues. Moreover, it monitors whether all actors in the partnership meet their obligations.
Members of APF are among others the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, the President of the African Development Bank, representatives of the Heads of State or Government of the NEPAD members and the Heads of international institutions, such as the UN, the IMF and the WTO.
