Iran and world powers continue talks

Iran and the 5+1 Group, which consists of the five permanent members of UN Security Council plus Germany, have agreed to continue their negotiations over the country’s nuclear enrichment program.

Following their meeting on April 14 in Istanbul, both sides still seem interested enough to try to find mutually satisfactory solutions to the dispute.

In the meantime, the arrival of a second US aircraft carrier, as part of the country's increasing enforcement of its navy force in the Persian Gulf, leads some analysts to believe that the coming negotiations would be Iran's last chance to prevent a possible military strike on its nuclear facilities.
