Multi-Grammy Award Winning music icon Dionne Warwick, returns to the Royal Albert Hall to lead a stunning All Star Cast including Sir Cliff Richard OBE, Alexandra Burke, Boy George, Caro Emerald, Tony Hadley, Joe McElderry, Katie Melua, Mica Paris, Rumer, Sandie Shaw and The London Community Gospel Choir, in aid of international development charity, The Hunger Project.
In celebration of World Hunger Day 2012 and as major highlight of her 50th Anniversary World Tour, this spectacular evening with full orchestra will see Dionne Warwick and her friends perform some once in a lifetime live duets and solo performances of songs that have become part of the soundtrack to all our lives.
These will include Dionne's instantly recognisable collaborations with Burt Bacharach and Hal David, Barry Manilow and The Bee Gees.
The evening will also provide the first opportunity for UK audiences to hear songs from Dionne's latest critically acclaimed album Only Trust Your Heart, a celebration of the music of Sammy Chan, destined to take its place in a long line of Warwick's classic recordings.
Dionne Warwick will be supported for this unique occasion by her own band of musicians, jazz singer Jumoké Fashola, the full orchestra of Southbank Sinfonia and the World Hunger Day Choir.
Join us in celebration, for the sustainable end of hunger and poverty.
