After being axed from the show, Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan continues her battle against ABC Entertainment and Disney.
Sheridan asks for $5,7 million in damages and $35,000 in sanctions for the fact that her character in the series, Edie Britt, was killed by electrocution.
The TV network requested a dismissal of the case, but Judge Elizabeth White has refused to drop the trial. Nevertheless, she also dismissed the actress' demand for financial sanctions.
During the previous hearing Sheridan needed only one more jury member to support her appeal in order to win.
