US court considers Motorola injunction against Microsoft

A US court considers a Motorola Mobility injunction against the distribution of several Microsoft products in a patent dispute that has been going on for years.
The judge is to rule whether Motorola has the right to block the sale of several Microsoft products such as the Xbox 360 games console, Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player.
For the judge to grant the injunction, Motorola must first prove it offers its patents under fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory terms.
Microsoft brought Motorola to court in November 2011, arguing it was charging excessive royalties for its patents.
