The ninth instalment of the Call of Duty game is released. 


The scene of Black Ops II is set mainly in 2025 and revolves around a new Cold War between the US and China.

The two super powers fight over rare earth minerals which are critical for the creation of modern technologies, such as mobile phones. 

Of course, that is not all. Robots, drone armies, x-ray sniper rifles, and terrorist groups hacking into the US defense network all belong to the speculative and futuristic story created by the new game.
