The newly elected President of France François Hollande appoints his first Prime Minister and the members of his government, on the same day that he also takes office.
Hollande selects the Prime Minister that will lead the country next to him to the legislative elections of June. Martine Aubry, the General Secretary of the Socialist party, Manuel Valls, Mayor of Evry who run also in Socialist party's primaries, and Jean-Marc Ayrault, current President of the Socialist Party group in Parliament are the three Socialist party members having the most chances to be selected as Prime Minister.
