The name of the Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony show is "Enlightment". The team of four responsible for setting up the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympic Games is led by film director Stephen Daldry.
The Opening Ceremony debut is signaled by the raising of the flag of the Host Nation which is done to the tunes of the Host Nation's national anthem. Next, the Parade of Athletes takes place, the teams of the participating nations begin their march. The order of entrance of the teams is given by the name of the nations in the language of the Host Country. The team of the Host Nation, Team GB, is the last to march.
The Ceremony continues with the speeches of the LOCOG Chair Seb Coe and President of the IPC Sir Philip Craven which will be preceded by the entrance of the Paralympic Flag to the stedium while the tunes of the Paralympic Anthem are played. The Paralympic Flag displays three 'agitos' (Latin for 'I move') in the colours red, blue and green, represnting the colours which are used the most in national flags around the world.
Other significant episodes are the Oath and the entrance of the Paralympic Flame which will light the Cauldron and mark the beginning of the Paralympic Games.
