The female winner of Roland Garros 2011, Li Na, runs part of the Olympic Torch Relay.

Li, who is China's first Grand Slam winner, was selected for the Relay by Samsung. The South-Korean company is one of the three main sponsors of the Olympic Torch Relay.

 

The Olympic Torch Relay started at Land's End in Cornwall on May 19 for a tour of 8,000 miles around the UK. It will end in the Olympic Stadium in London on July 27 for the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games 2012.
