European Courts reach a verdict on a €1.1 billion penalty imposed against Microsoft on charges of competition forgery.
The penalty was proposed in 2008 on charges of not adhering to policies that prevent abuse of position scenarios.
This is not the first time Microsoft have been accused of abusing their monopoly position in the Operating System market.
In 2004, Microsoft were given a €497 million fine for abusing their monopoly market position.
