Muse releases new album after delay Monday 1 October to Tuesday 2 October 2012 Worldwide

English rock band Muse releases a new album, called 'The 2nd Law', a few weeks later than previously scheduled.
The band first announced the album would be out in mid-September. However, in early August the release date was changed to October 1st. The band's American fans will find the album in stores a day later.
No specific reason for the delay was given. Nevertheless, according to rumors, the band wanted to avoid launching the album in a month overcrowded with releases. Bob Dylan's new album and the much talked about new No Doubt album, the first one since 2001, were both released in September.
The new album is said to be inspired by the electronic dance genre dubstep.
"It feels like it's time to move on and do something radically different", bassist Chris Wolstenholme said about the new album.
