American actor Robert De Niro, famous for his memorable role in "The Godfather" trilogy, opens a new luxury hotel and restaurant in a joint venture with chef Nobu Matsuhisa.


The expensive venue consists of 180 rooms and a large Nobu restaurant, with private dining areas for celebrity guests.


The exterior and interior of the building were designed by David Rockwell, also the mastermind behind the W hotels and the Oscars.
