Google (GOOG) Inc.'s Michael Barrett steps in as Yahoo's new chief revenue officer, reporting directly to Ross Levinsohn, the current director of the organisation.
Barrett is in charge of advertising revenue and operations internationally. He was the former chief executive officer of AdMeld, which was bought out by Google for $400 million.
The new CRO was previously also the executive vice president for News Corp.'s Fox Interactive Media. Before that point, he had been employed by AOL Inc. and Yahoo.
During his job at Fox Media he worked closely with Levinsohn, who was the president at the time.
