American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers release 18 singles in six months.
The tracks were recorded in 2011 when their last album I'm With You was recorded. They are expected to be released in nine parts over six months.
The first tracks to be out are Long Progression and Strange Man on 11 August. A month later Magpies and Victorian Machinery will be released.
The band's guitarist Josh Klinghoffer was quoted by NME saying that "some songs seem to have a lot more of an agenda than others. Some songs play well with others and some songs need more attentions and a little extra care. Here are some songs that seemed to want to pair up and take a later train. Keep an eye on them, they're up to something."
