EU/IMF Troika discusses Greek financial situation after delay

Inspectors of the Troika, consisting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Commission and the European Central Bank (ECB), visit Greece after delay to discuss the new financial situation after the last Parliamentary elections.
The inspectors were initially set to travel to Greece on June 25, but the meeting got postponed due to the new Greek PM Antonis Samaras' inability to attend, as he was recovering from an eye surgery, which he underwent on June 23.
The result of the elections, which were won by the conservative New Democracy party, paves the way for new financial aid to Greece from the IMF.
The Troika first has to approve the Greek conditions for the loan before the IMF can transfer the money.
