The World Trade Organization (WTO) issues ruling on the EU's complaints over Argentina's protectionism.
"The WTO will say whether or not the Argentines have breached areas they are required to uphold under WTO rules, as the Europeans say," WTO chief Pascal Lamy stated on the sidelines of the Rio+20 Summit.
The dispute between the EU and Argentina started by Argentina's seizure of Spanish oil assets in YPF energy company, followed by the EU filing a challenge against Argentine's restrictions on imports at the WTO.
The 'trade war' between the EU and Argentina is a part of bigger problem of rising protectionism in the world, which was triggered by 2008 economic crisis and global environmental issues.
