Troika officials have indicated that they are open to considering proposals for a different approach to implement reforms as long as budget deficit reduction targets do not change. The Greek government aims to a 2-year extension to bailout, which is currently set to end in 2014.
A strong anti-bailout opposition in Parliament worries both Greek government and EU officials since pro-bailout parties lost more than half of their voters in recent elections.
