Inspectors of Troika, consisting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Commission and the European Central Bank (ECB), visit Athens again after their first visit since the Greek elections. They are expected to discuss the possibilities to negotiate changes to Greece's bailout deal.
Troika officials have indicated that they are open to considering proposals for a different approach to implement reforms as long as budget deficit reduction targets do not change. The Greek government aims to a 2-year extension to bailout, which is currently set to end in 2014.
A strong anti-bailout opposition in Parliament worries both Greek government and EU officials since pro-bailout parties lost more than half of their voters in recent elections.
